UPDATE: FRIDAY, JUNE 23, 2023, 10:47PM: Tonight, Caffe Maria proved they are a friend and ally to the LGBTQIAPlus Community by hosting the first ever drag show in Union City, New Jersey. Also, there are wonderful new staff members, and new tea offerings. The prices remain reasonable, the food remains excellent, the service remains outstanding and it remains a pleasure for me to visit, every chance I can. UPDATE: THURSDAY, APRIL 20, 2023, 6:13PM: The only change I know of is that the hours on Thursdays are 10AM-6PM. It was 10AM-5PM. Other than that change, the customer service remains excellent, the coffees and teas are delicious, as is the pizza, the pastries, and I look forward to that kickass meatball sandwich, next time. UPDATE: SUNDAY, JANUARY 8, 2023, 1:32PM: In honor of my Birthday, I visited Caffe Maria, which was interesting, as the first time I visited Caffe Maria was on my Birthday in January, 2020. The food remains as delicious, as usual, the coffee remains amazing and the service remains excellent, as usual. UPDATE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2022, 6:05PM: Today was my first time back at Caffe Maria since they reopened, about two weeks ago. It makes very happy to see not every business closed its doors permanently after the covid19 lockdowns of 2020. At the present time, Caffe Maria is open only on Saturdays, 10AM-9PM, and Sundays, 11AM-3PM. The coffee is even better than I remember it, and now they offer pizza. Yes, PIZZA! I look forward to returning, ASAP AND STAT!! I was on my way to an appointment and found Caffe Maria. After reading what another Google Local Guide wrote about it, I promised myself I would return when I had more time. That happened to be on my Birthday, this year. It was my first time at Caffe Maria and it was a great experience. The calm atmosphere was perfect for relaxing, and their food options were delicious and varied. The owners’ offered exceptional service and a warm welcome. Definitely returning and recommend!

Visiting from Texas we wanted coffee on Christmas day we found this cozy & cute coffee shop the owner himself & other gentlemen were very attentive and accommodating and felt welcome the food was delicious and made fresh.

The staff are great , they care and are very considerate, we had the salted caramel latte , the waffle , the french toast and a creme . And they all look as they taste , it is a chill place , to have a calm morning or a nice evening or if you want to grab a coffee on the go . Recommended 👍

Loved the vibes, the guys working are super nice. I had ham and eggs with French toast and loved that everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly by the time it made it to me, husband had bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and the eggs were perfectly fried, yum. I had a chai spice latte and it was delightful, their expresso drinks were also nicely crafted. We loved that the had games on the tables, and can't wait to be back for live music and to try other things. Great business to support with your dollars!

I stumbled upon this inviting hidden spot on my way to work, and I'm so glad I did! The incredible smell of bacon coming from this cozy café was impossible to resist. As I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted by the staff and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is inviting and intimate, with a lovely corner dedicated to instruments which I discovered they host live music events on Saturdays. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and it was nothing short of delicious. I highly recommend this charming café to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming spot with outstanding food. I'll definitely be back!

Went for a late breakfast with my wife, surprised with items on the menu plus atmosphere (especially the tic-tac-toe game). Tried waffles with fruits plus Americano, which was delicious and amazing. Enjoyed everybite and the time spent at this place. Staff and service were fantastic. It's definitely a go-to place. I 100% recommend!!!

What a beautiful cafe, I was welcomed most lovely and got a great, super fresh waffle with fruits and really delicious fruit tea. Most outstanding service, thanks to the owner and his team! I loved it :) definitely a place to wash away your worries or just for a good coffee/tea time.

I came here on a Saturday to grab a coffee and meet a friend, and I didn’t expect to find live music! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Mark, who seemed like he might be the owner or manager (though I’m not sure), was incredibly kind and took the time to tell me more about the live music. It looked like local talents had come to showcase their skills, which made the atmosphere even more special. I ended up staying for over an hour and loved the experience. By the way, the coffee is delicious! Highly recommend this place!

This place was so unexpected in a great way. A charming cafe with rustic, country vibes that makes you feel so welcomed. They’ve got an extensive coffee menu serving blends from around the world. We got the salted caramel frappe and the vanilla caramel crème frappe for coffee and ordered the waffle and French toast from their breakfast menu. Loved the waffle best. Super reasonable with their prices too. Additionally, they also support local artists and have got art on display/for sale (super thoughtful for the local artist community). Ended up having a conversation with the owners and they were so kind and passionate about the business they’re running which is very customer oriented. We easily spent a couple hours there and didn’t feel rushed. I can’t recommend this place enough because they deserve to shine and needless to say I’ll be going back again.
